Thomas Olofsson (47) has been appointed Managing Director in Birstaverken AB. Thomas comes from the position as Managing Director of Sunds MDF Technologies AB in Sundsvall.
He has a Mechanical Engineering degree and has additional educational leadership programs. Thomas has held different positions such as Senior General Manager- Sales and CRM, Manager Process Engineering & Plant Engineering and Project Manager. He has also been a Road Engineer in the Swedish Road Administration.
Thomas will commence 1 October 2011, and will report to Senior Vice President Infrastructure Kåre Johan Eikrem. Thomas lives in Sundsvall in Sweden.
